Oxy Oxy here we come

Had been a tiring few days. Due to the new medicine, it aggravated his phelgm issue. Normally he has lots of phelgm but it worsened after taking the new med. Anyhow, we had to put him on the oxygen machine as his breathing was super laboured plus his skin on the outer part of his lips were a little greyish. He hated the oxygen tube. Kept throwing a tantrum. No choice. Not like I wanted to put him on it but of course he don't get it. At least its improving. He is on antibiotics now and his phelgm is clearing up slowly but surely. He is also taking to the idea of the oxygen tube too. Put him on it last night. Should be able to take him off it soon I think. Once the phelgm clears up. Another night tonight I think should do it. Very tired. Dragging my lifeless body around the house. Haha......

New med n new friends

Mathias has been given new medicine on top of his sedative. Its Diazepam. He will start on it tonight. At the same time, an oxygen machine has also moved in with him. Hehe. Hope I don't have to use it. Its only if he sounds like he has trouble breathing. That's a scary thought. He has been well behaved this past 2 days after his spasms on friday night which lasted till saturday afternoon. Looking tired though.

Guess will see how the new medicine goes. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works. ;-)

Mathias has been suffering from this for a couple of months already. Its not fits. So not knowing what it could be, we called it spasms. The doctors do not know too. Did a scan already and still not sure what it is. Anyways, even with sedatives given to him, he doesn't sleep at all the entire night. He will keep up the struggling or spasming as I call it. Its horrible to watch him like tt all night long. His doctors dare not give him anything stronger cause they are worried that he will forget to breathe if he goes into too deep a sleep. He is currently taking chloral hydrate. Its happening more and more frequently. Every few days or so now. At my wits end.
