False alarm

Getting closer and closer to the delivery date. Getting all excited and worried at the same time. On Wednesday evening, I started getting some pretty regular labour cramps. At first I thought they were just normal Braxton Hicks. But then it felt quite intense. Something like menses cramps with backache. A few came every half hour then after that a little irregular. Was pretty worried that it was the starting of my baby's birth. He is early la if thats the case. Told myself that I needed to sleep if this was the real thing so off I went to bed. For the rest of the night, there was a constant pain or cramp. But nothing happened at all. As in the pain did not get progressively stronger but it was quite horrible sleeping with the pain the whole night. Was feeling much worn out by morning. So when I woke up I had a good talk with baby Matthias. Told him that he must wait for dada's birthday to come out. That way, they can both celebrate their birthdays together. So yeah. Everything is normal right now. No cramping. Thank God!!

All's ready for him though should he be early. ;-) Getting myself prepped up too. Been reading this book called Adventures of normal birthing. Its good cause it contains lots of stories of women's past experiences or their personal experiences of giving birth naturally. Which means without any form of pain killers. No epidural, no ceasearian. Mentally prepared that its gonna be very painful. But I believe I can do this. Poor "A". Its gonna be tough on him though. Think he will have bruised hands and arms after the event. Hahaha......
