Its been a long time since I last blogged. Haven't been in the mood plus had been looking after Mathias. All in all, he has been warded 3times. All due to Pneumonia and bronchitis. Milk n food kept going into his lungs. It has been tiring. I dun like staying in the hospital although its become like a 2nd home to me. Hehe. Its tough seeing him there. The machines plus all those tubes and breathing apparatus. The worst part is when they need to take his blood for tests. He always seem to have trouble with that and so it takes a super long time. Once it took them 2 hours just to get a couple of tubes worth of blood. He cried and screamed till he had no more voice n energy. My poor baby. Anyway, he is now on tube feeding for those who dunno. Life has also pretty much gotten back to normal too. He just recovered from high fever too. Started on Friday evening. Luckily for him, the pelatic team was here on friday afternoon and already suspected that he might come down with a fever due to his chesty sounds coming from his lungs. They made a prescription for me to collect his antibiotics at KK. Hence was able to go get it without having to go thru emergency ward. Cause the first few times this happened, we had to go in cause the GP can't or don't dare to treat him. Being under the care of the Pelatic team is good. At least I don't panick when things happen. He is now fine and is sleeping next to me while I type this. Think his milk that he regurgitated went back into his lungs. Sigh. No other reason for the high fever. Been sucking his phelgm regularly too. That helps I guess. But still very chesty n phelgmy.


Updates for those that I don't see on a regular basis. Genetic tests that were sent to the States came back good. I am not a carrier of the mutated gene. Mathias is a random case. So that means that my next child(son) would be fine. I really hope so. Am trying for another child now but its not so easy. Things have fallen into a regular pattern each day. Am more rested too. Mathias is still super sticky to me. But I love him so much that I let him get his way much too often. Haha.
