goin on

Its been a long time since I sat down and pen down my thoughts. I've been busy. Tests and lots of learning. We are on to the systems part now and lots of learning still. Its fun though very stressful. We are very near the mock calls part. Stress stress...

Just spent the whole afternoon making notes for all the screen codes I would be using. So many many...... so tired out now too. Up to now, I have been maintaining my results. Really hope I will pass thru.

Nothing much to talk about....;-)

Guess till after the stressful parts and when I am on the floor.

Nailed it

A depressing evening it is.Was rather depressed earlier on. I did well on the test again. But it was very stressful and quite difficult this time round. Heart was doing a massive dance after the paper. So worried not enough time to complete it. Made 94%. 1 half wrong. Hehe......

Anyways, depressiveness came about cause of the lack of fun over the weekend. And someone's out for dinner today too. Supposedly time to see him cause it is his off day but well...And tomorrow, I can't go out to have fun too although it is his off ....cause I gotta study for the 2 modules on wednesday. Another heavy weight test. Today's test also one failure. Retest tomorrow. If he fails it again, he won't be able to con't. Scary lor.

Topics are getting harder and harder. You will be so surprised that things we take for granted in the banking industry is actually this tough. Perhaps its also the overload on products. Too many. Manzzz.

Am tired out too....mentally exhausted too. Went to Sakae for dinner by myself just now at Toa Payoh cause I alight there. Bought myself my hair dryer brush. The sides of my hair keep curling out cause of the old curls. So annoying. Even blowing it with a hairdryer doesn't work so had to go get the brush finally. Got that at Courts. Went walking around too. Got "A" something too. And as my face moisturizer is running out, I got one too. Made my way home after that.

So am going to take a shower now and sit down to an hour of studying before sleeping. So dam tired already. No more than an hour cause I am sure I am going to fall over really soon.

Perhaps I am pushing myself too hard too. I expect myself to do well. I am trying to get all 90% and above at least. That's what I am aiming for. Yea...

Anyways, thats it for today.....

on goings

Okies here's some update. I scored above 90% for both test. Thank goodness. One failure. Retest for him. Like I said, you need at least 80% to pass so yea. There's another test tomorrow. Need to pass tat as well. :-}

Many many test to come. Anyways, there's nothing much to update cause everyday is studying and more studying. Only time to rest comes on the weekend for now. At least till I start officially on the floor.

So I guess till I have time again.

Rough

Hey all again. As I sit here and type this, I am already dozing. Its only 10pm mind you and I am already tired out. TOTALLY!!!! Its been hectic and trying these few days. And its going to get worse. Trust me when I say it will get worse. Let me expound. Day 1 was ok, mostly orientation and light stuff about the company. Got to listen to some really experience people on the floor. Man they were good. Very expert. Will I get there?? I hope so.

Day 2 start of lessons. Studied on products. Learnt that there was to be a test on Thursday on 2 modules. We covered one module that day itself. Day 3 covered another module. Test is tomorrow. Passing mark is 80%!!!! Need to pass. Cause if I don't, its BYE BYE!!! ;-o. I am a little worried. Just completed studying everything. Got a better understanding of the products covered. Hope its enough. Its open book but its dam tough. SHITE!!!

Anyways, here's wishing myself luck tomorrow and that God will pull me thru. Must tell myself...I CAN DO IT!! I CAN!!!! Hehe...

Okies anyways, my training colleagues are pretty nice. There's 12 of us at the moment. Drop out rate is quite high. One of the trainees stay at my area too. Found out today. Haha....So near somemore...just the other side only....Wonder if we have ever bumped into each other without realising it. Anyways, its time to sleep. Got another long day tomorrow. Must Pass must pass......hopefully if I recite this long enough I might convince the test paper too. ;-D

Okies so night night guys and have fun.

More on Saigon City

Free Graphics

Some more pics of Saigon. Anyways, we tried to visit Ben Thanh Market. My dad said that there was a night market there...but turns out to be nothing much. More of food stores along the road. Just like our Lau pa sat. The stores in the market only open during the day and close around 6pm so yea...we were too late....Blah..As can be seen, they sell all sorts of stuff. Didn't buy anything.

Dinner at Windsor Hotel. Heard that their buffet spread was huge. Hehe..so yea, we gave it a try. It was ok la. For those who went to Cambodia first, its too long away from civilisation la that's why it seems so heavenly. Hahahah...

City tour in Saigon. Excited ....waiting for our bus to arrive.

First stop if I remember correctly was at this church. Oops, I totally forgot its name. ;-P I remember attending service here 10yrs ago with my dad. Made friends with a guy and even went to his house for tea. My dad! Overly friendly and excited. Haha. I was a Catholic before remember..so that explains why I was attending Mass in this church. Its pretty big and nice. Looks like what a Catholic Church should look like.

Just across the street is the Post Office. A freaking huge one. I purchased some stamps to send the postcard I bought the night before to "A". But of course I couldn't send it out yet as I hadn't written on it yet. "J" took some pics for me. Actually pretending to take more like it. In the end I made so much noise about it....so there's me complaining about having to pose for so long and she snapped a pic of me then. SOOOO sampat!!!

After that failed attempt, I decided I should snap a pic of myself. My specialty anyways. Everyone usually laughs at my expense when I do this. Haha!!! ;-D

Next stop to the Reunification Hall. Can't really remember what's it for. Oopps again. Took many pics but I wouldn't wanna bore you all with too many of them. Took some pics of the conference hall, vice president receiving room and etc....

I can see Bonsai everywhere...very chinese.

This is the credentials presenting room. Wah!! So many rooms for this and that. Faint, so complex. There were tons of other rooms. The view out is nice...as can be seen.

Yes yes, once again, its me at it again. So funny meh??

The words say that 2 bombs were dropped here previously. Interesting!

We dropped by the Laquer plant too. I took a video of this too. Another day perhaps. Its very hard work. Many months to get one done. And its lovely. This place is special in the sense that it is manned by the handicapped. Those affected by the war. Yeps. This helps them. I didn't buy any although I was seriously tempted. Thinking about lugging it thru Vietnam detered me. Plus sigh where will I put it??? Wait till I have my own place yah.

Another place we dropped by to snap some shots. I do not remember what this place is? Think maybe its the train station. Not very sure. (Scratch scratch)

Had some Pho Bo (beef noodles) during lunch time. Wasn't that good. We seem to have trouble finding good beef noodles. Sob Sob....

I made 3 Ao Dai's for meself. Nice! 2 tube top type and 1 traditional one. Am happy with my purchase. Made one for my mum too but sigh, they didn't do what I asked them to. Bleah. That was my only big purchase while in Vietnam. ;-) Will con't again soon when I have the time.

New start

Free Graphics

Hey all, sorry been MIA for some time. Was busy applying for a new job and going for interviews and test. ;-) Well happy to say that I am employed. Yes I am. But that was after a series of grueling test to ascertain if I was suitable for the job. Although I am hired for now, I still need to go for lots of training and take loads of test. That will be a challenge for me. To learn new skills and information needed for the job. Yeah well, with no proper experience in the circular world, this is a stepping stone. Am in the banking industry. No names here in case of sensitive stuff. But I am a Customer Service Specialist. I am on shift work though. I felt it was a good way to get experience and learn about the Banking industry plus the pay is not that bad. Wanted something different too. Something that I have never done before. Yeps.

After taking all the test before joining them, I would think that I would be very well trained which is great!!! ;-) I love that!

One stupid thing which I really need to do is my health. Is there anyway to strengthen my body from simple things like cold? Its really getting on my nerves. Am sick so often its gross.

Anyways I have cut off my hair. Its drastic! Its short! Will post up a pic of it after I have taken one. Wanted to start anew and it was a good move. Greatness! Oh n I tried out this shop in Orchard Plaza. They do eyebrow threading. And man it was so much better than plucking. Way better. It was painful but not as bad as plucking. Faster too. And its only $7 bucks. Awesome! They do tons of other stuff as well. Example: waxing, bleaching, henna, brazilian.....etc.. many many other stuff. My aunt's recommended it cause they go there for henna. Its a natural plant that is used to dye your hair. Well, I was about town on Wednesday so I gave it a shot before going to cut my hair. The hairdresser asked me so many times if I am sure I wanted to cut it so short but I decided it would be good to start with something drastic. A new me in a sense. ;-) Am happy at the moment.

Oh's New Year's was madness. Was with my entire family at the Hollandse Club. We did dinner and countdown. Think with their friends it was about 100 pax there tt night. I got very wasted. Thanks to my aunt who was going...let your hair down and well they mixed too many drinks in one night. There was punch, red or white wine during dinner, tequila shots, champagne for countdown. Yea it all ended in a blur for me. "A" had to carry me. Haha.... Poor boy. I must have been very heavy and I wasn't helping at all. Trust me man. I was sitting on the floor a few times giggling away. Spent the next day lying in bed. Haha...that was bad. Not going to have a repeat of that anytime soon. As usual, lost many memories the next day. Dun know what happened after getting home. Remember some stuff but others no memory at all. Sigh!

Yea ok..am going to end it here. Mmmm.....pics of Viet after this. ;-) Have a great New Year everyone!
